Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Postauto ("we", "us"), the operator of the Postauto service at postauto.io. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Postauto on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
1. The service
Postauto lets you draft, schedule, and publish content to third-party social networks from one place, including through automated clients and AI agents acting on your behalf. We provide the tooling; the content you publish remains yours and your responsibility.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.
- One person or entity per account unless your plan says otherwise.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Postauto to:
- violate the rules, developer policies, or terms of any connected network. Each social network you publish to has its own rules, and you must comply with them. We may suspend publishing that a network flags or that clearly breaches its policies;
- send spam: bulk unsolicited content, misleading engagement schemes, or repetitive identical posts intended to manipulate network systems;
- publish content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have rights to;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or access it by any means we have not documented;
- resell the service without a written agreement with us.
- evade account restrictions, create replacement accounts after a ban, abuse free trials or promotions, bypass usage limits, or use stolen payment details;
- upload malware, harvest personal data without authorization, or use the service for fraud, harassment, or other unlawful activity.
Automated use through agents and scripts is welcome; the same rules apply to what your automation publishes as if you had posted it yourself.
4. Connected social accounts
When you connect a social account, you authorize Postauto to publish to it on your instruction. You confirm you are entitled to connect that account. You can disconnect any account at any time from the app, and revoke access from the network's own settings. See our security overview for how credentials are protected.
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You choose a plan and give a payment method at checkout, nothing is charged during the trial, and the first charge is made when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. One trial per customer; trials, promotional offers, credits, and discounts are not lifetime commitments and we may change their eligibility, limits, duration, or availability under section 6. Paid plans bill in advance through Stripe and renew at the interval disclosed at checkout until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing page, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged. Cancel later and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and then does not renew. When a subscription ends, your account becomes read-only: your posts, channels, media, and analytics stay in your account and can be exported, and publishing, connecting channels, inviting people, and automations stop. Downgrades may pause channels, automations, or other things that exceed the new plan's limits; nothing is deleted because of a downgrade.
- Prices exclude VAT and sales tax; applicable tax is shown at checkout.
- If a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected] and we will review it. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
- We may revise prices, billing intervals, discounts, and plan packaging for new purchases at any time. For an existing paid subscription, we will give at least 30 days notice of a price increase or other materially adverse billing change, or longer if required by law. The change applies no earlier than renewal after that notice period, not retroactively to a prepaid period. You may cancel before it takes effect. We will obtain additional consent where required by law.
- Plan limits are enforced in the product. The ones a plan is sold on (connected channels, team members, posts per month, media storage, clients, RSS feeds, auto-repost rules) are on the pricing page. Two more are shown in the product rather than on that page, under Settings, Usage, where your current figure and what is left of it are always visible: a monthly ceiling on posts to X, because X is the only network whose API charges us for each call, and a per-minute request budget for API, MCP, and CLI callers. We may adjust these fair-use figures with notice under section 6, and we will not reduce a figure during a period you have already paid for.
- You authorize charges disclosed at checkout and must keep billing details current. Failed or overdue payments may lead to restricted access, paused publishing, or suspension after any notice or cure period required by law. Cancellation does not waive amounts already due. Refunds required by law or expressly provided under these terms take priority over the general non-refundable fees rule above.
6. Changes to plans and the service
We may introduce, modify, limit, replace, or discontinue plans, features, integrations, content libraries, APIs, support offerings, and the service itself. Reasons may include operating costs, commercial viability, product strategy, low usage, security, abuse, legal requirements, or changes to third-party services. Published prices and features describe the current offer; they do not promise permanent availability, unlimited use, future functionality, or unchanged pricing. A specific written agreement with you takes priority over these general provisions where it expressly says so.
We will give at least 30 days notice before discontinuing the free trial or materially reducing a paid plan's core functionality, including a reduction in the fair-use figures shown under Settings, Usage. For paid subscriptions, such reductions ordinarily apply at renewal after the notice period. Immediate changes may be necessary for security, unlawful activity, legal compliance, or third-party restrictions; we will explain them as soon as reasonably practicable. If we discontinue a prepaid service or materially reduce its core functionality during a prepaid period, you may cancel and request a proportionate refund for the unused affected period. Mandatory remedies remain available. Keep independent copies of your content and export it before access ends.
Network connections depend on integration availability, account eligibility, permissions, and third-party approval. Your workspace identifies the connection options available to your account. Preview and experimental features may change or end without becoming generally available; do not base a purchase on future features or roadmap statements.
7. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you create and publish through Postauto. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and transmit that content to the networks you choose. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not publish anything except on your instruction or your automation's instruction.
8. Third-party networks
The social networks you publish to are independent services with their own terms and availability. Networks change and revoke API access, rate limits, and features at any time; we work to adapt, but we are not responsible for a network rejecting, removing, or altering your content, or for network downtime.
9. Suspension and termination
You may cancel your subscription or delete your account. We may reject registrations, restrict features, pause scheduled publishing, remove or disable access to content, block credentials or connections, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal obligations, or a connected provider's requirements. We may act immediately when delay would create harm, facilitate abuse, or breach the law. Otherwise, where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to remedy it. You may request review of a restriction by contacting [email protected].
We may also stop offering service to an account, market, or category of customers for legitimate commercial reasons, including unsustainable operating costs or withdrawal from that market, with at least 30 days notice. If we end a paid subscription for such reasons before its prepaid period expires, we will refund the unused portion. We do not impose a blanket forfeiture of prepaid fees; any withholding following a breach must be permitted by law. We may prevent re-registration where necessary to enforce a ban.
On termination, your license and access end, scheduled posts and automation may stop, and outstanding charges remain payable. Where lawful and safe, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your content before access ends; urgent restrictions may prevent this. We retain or delete personal data under our privacy policy and legal obligations. Termination does not authorize unrelated uses of your data or remove statutory privacy rights. Payment obligations already incurred and the ownership, liability, dispute, and other provisions intended to survive remain effective.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that publishing will be uninterrupted or error-free; a failed publish is reported in the product so you can retry.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data. Our total aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50 USD if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence are unaffected.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, commercial arrangements, security, third-party requirements, or the law. For materially adverse changes we will give at least 30 days notice by email or in the app, state the effective date, and allow you to cancel before they take effect. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect sooner where permitted by law. Changes do not retroactively alter accrued rights or prepaid pricing. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law; we will obtain express agreement where required. A privacy policy update is not consent to new processing that requires your consent.
